Ingredients and allergen panel review checklist
Panel software can preserve supplied text and flag layout pressure, but it cannot decide ingredient order, allergen obligations or jurisdiction-specific wording. Keep those responsibilities explicit.
Confirm the approved ingredient order
Compare the entered statement character by character with the reviewed source, including sub-ingredients, punctuation and qualifiers.
Keep allergen text separately reviewable
Do not infer a Contains statement from ingredient names. Use the exact allergen wording supplied by the qualified reviewer and keep it visible in the proof.
Check line breaks at physical size
Inspect whether wrapping, bold emphasis and spacing remain readable at the intended print dimensions. Never delete wording merely to make the block fit.
Retain a revision trail
Store the source value sheet, exported proof, evidence JSON, review notes and approval reference together so later packaging changes can be traced.
