PanelLint packaging guide
How to check nutrition label print size
A panel that looks correct on screen can still be scaled by a page preset or print dialog. Verify document dimensions, output scale and the final packaging context as separate checks.
Record the intended width and height
Use the dimensions approved for the package and panel format. Enter those physical values before export rather than scaling a generic document later.
Inspect the PDF page dimensions
Confirm that the exported PDF page matches the requested width and height. Keep the dimension record in the evidence set used for review.
Print a measured proof at 100%
Disable Fit and Scale to Fit, print at Actual Size or 100%, then measure the panel with a physical ruler. Printer margins and driver settings can still alter output.
Review the complete package
Check the panel in its final orientation with folds, seams, curvature and nearby copy. The isolated panel proof is only one part of packaging approval.
